We received word that Bishop Mary Virginia Taylor has announced that worship services in Holston Conference churches will be suspended indefinitely.
The news is not surprising given the continued spread of the Coronavirus. Ways you can stay connected to FBSUMC are abundant, and our staff is continuing to explore ways to reach out to you during our social distancing.
• Worship Online with Us: 8:30 and/or 10:45 through our Facebook Page. Click here even if you do not have a personal FB page simply scroll down the page and click the "x" to ignore the prompt to log in.
• Weekday Daily Online Devotions: Beginning Monday, March 23, at 8:00 a.m. every morning (Monday-Friday) we will provide online devotions on our Facebook page.
•Online Prayer Service: We encourage you to be a part of our online prayer service each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. on Facebook.
•Mental Health Chats: Pastor Misti will offer mental health chats for anyone needing encouragement (through Facebook, Zoom, or by phone.) Simply message the church on the Facebook page or call the church office at 423-246-4471 to get connected with her.
Remember, "God has not given us the spirit of fear . . ." (II Timothy 1:7). God is greater than any challenge including Coronavirus!

If you have already paid for camp, you can receive a refund, save the funds for next summer, or you may make your payment a contribution to the camp.
