Wednesday nights at First Broad Street during the fall and spring school semesters are beaming with activity- there is a place for all ages to be involved and grow in their faith.
Wednesday Night Meal (5:30 p.m.)
Please make reservations for the Wednesday meal by calling 423-224-1502. Reservations are accepted until Tuesday at noon. For your convenience, you may make standing reservations. Standing reservations need to be renewed each August when Wednesday Nights @ FBS resumes by calling the reservation line. We do ask that you cancel the reservation if you cannot come on a certain date.
Meals are free for first-time guests of Wednesday Nights. All others are asked to help offset the cost of the meals:

Every fall and spring we offer classes and Bible studies that seek to meet the needs of our congregation and community. You will find a wide range of Bible studies.

Weekly Small Groups
Logos Study-This is a study based on the FBS Discipleship Toolkit Curriculum offered three times per week for all ages. Led by Rev. Misti McCreary. Sundays 9:45-10:30 a.m.; Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 p.m.; Thursdays 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Please note that the Logos Study that meets on Wednesday nights this summer will not meet August 8 through August 22, but will resume on August 29 in room L30. Sunday Christian Believer Study-Begins August 26 held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. led by Rev. Dr. Randy Frye. Christian Believer: Knowing God with Heart and Mind is a 30-week study focusing on the basics of the Christian faith. Register by August 23.
Monday Morning Bible Study-9:45 a.m. beginning September 10 in the Parlor led by Josie Reid and using the study by Joy Eastridge, Faith in Action: Act of the Apostles.
Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study-9:00-10:00 a.m. at 1501 Dobyns Dr. Group discussion led by Joy Eastridge. Hosted by Joyce Brogden. This Fall's study is First Corinthians: Living Love When We Disagree.
"Breaking Bread" Tuesday Evening Bible Study-6:30-8:30 p.m. at 1209 Sussex Dr. Gail Dyson usually shares a recipe, and the group enjoys fellowship, prayer, and discussion. Babysitter available.
Women's Wednesday Morning Bible Study-10:00-11:30 a.m. at 1309 White Street, led by Gigi Boggan.
Open Life Group-Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 p.m. in L38 led by Bob and Gayle Bogart. This is an intergenerational group studying the Bible together.
New Parent or Guardian Life Group-Wednesdays 6:15-7:30 p.m. This Life Group will meet during children's and students' activities to give parents and guardians a chance to have fellowship, prayer, and study together. Call Retta Overturf to register at 423-782-6857.
Men of the Bible-Wednesdays 7:15-8:15 p.m. in Room L06 led by Dr. Bob Taylor beginning August 15. This group meets to study, teach, and discuss the Bible through its original and today's context. Men of all ages are welcome regardless of experience in scripture studies.
Men's Thursday Morning Bible Study-11:30-1:00 p.m. at 1309 White Street beginning mid-September led by Mike Boggan. This group will study Knowing the Bible: Isaiah by JI Packer. Please register through the reservation line at 423-224-1502.
Thursday Morning Tolson Bible Study-9:30-11:30 a.m. in L44. This group will study Andy Stanley's 8-week Follow, led by Brenda Mercer.
