Details for The Living Last Christmas
to Come to Bethlehem on December 16 from 5:30-8:00 PM and worship as the circle churches portray the sights and sounds of that holy night so long ago. You may remain in your car and drive through (see driving route below), or use our pedestrian path, which begins at the corner of East Sullivan Street and East Church Circle.
Parking for the pedestrian route is available at any of the church parking lots on Charlemont Street. Volunteers will located throughout Church Circle to guide you to the beginning of the pedestrian route at the corner of East Sullivan Street and East Church Circle. The most convenient parking to the entrance of the pedestrian route is available at the First Broad Street United Methodist Church parking lots on Charlemont Street.
Due to the presence of automobile traffic, pedestrians will be required to stay on the marked pedestrian path at all times.
We have, as promised, improved the route to drive through the event. Roads marked in red will be completely blocked to the public. The official route is marked in green, and will be monitored by volunteers and Kingsport City police officers. You must keep moving and remain in your vehicle at all times.
All cars planning to drive through must be at the entrance of the route (on the corner of Center Street and Sullivan Street) or along the green route prior to 8:00 PM. At that time, the route will be closed to additional vehicles entering at Center Street, and only those already on the official route will be permitted to proceed. The cast will remain in place until 8:30 PM to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to experience this Holy Night in Bethlehem.
