Serving Matters: How to Help -- SATURDAY, JANUARY 27

In a world that is full of needs, from the person needing medical attention to the person asking for money on the side of the street, where do we even begin? How do we respond in a Christ-like manner when we are with our family and pass by someone who is collecting change? When someone walks up to you and asks for help, what do you say? All of these are questions that many of us wrestle with at times, especially during the colder months.

On Saturday, January 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. we will be having a seminar titled “Serving Matters: How to Help” in which we will seek to answer these questions and to equip you to move forward with grace and confidence in how to respond in different situations. We will have local experts on hand to lend their expertise and guide our questions.

We hope that you will make plans to join us for this exciting event that is open to all. Lunch will be included! Please RSVP your planned attendance to 423-224-1502 or shopkins@fbsumc.org. If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to reach out to Rev. Harrison J. Bell at hbell@fbsumc.org.
