With twenty regular Sunday School Classes, as well as long- and short-term Bible studies throughout the year, adults at FBSUMC will find warm welcomes, challenging and topical Bible study, and places of service. Adult classes form the backbone of the church, and the life experiences and spiritual wisdom that undergirds kingdom living is celebrated, even as the journey toward knowing God continues. Opportunities for training and service occur throughout the year, including mentoring Confirmands, worship leadership, and church administration.Nursery and Preschool - First Floor

Children in Kindergarten through 4th grade participate in Rotational Sunday School . During each five-week session, children experience a Bible story in five different ways. Each week, they move to a different themed room on the Children’s Hall. The rooms are clearly marked with grade levels, and shepherds are always ready to greet the children.
![]() Tweens, also known as "Pre-Teens" have a special place at First Broad Street. Many of them are not yet old enough to participate in our regular youth program, but not young enough to be a part of our preschool activities. For this reason we use "Tweens in Transition: Exploring Faith" as they head into their 6th Grade confirmation class.
This class meets in room 234.
![]() Confirmation
