Art and Soul is the Wednesday night program for children pre-school through 5th grade and is based on the LOGOS model. Activities include dinner, Bible study, arts & crafts, singing, and games. All the choirs sing on a regular basis and present a musical at the end of the year. Call Anna Manley at (423) 224-1515, for more information.

The Youth Choir rehearses during the school year (August - May). It has a yearly choir retreat and a mission/choir tour in the summer (usually June). In recent years, the Youth Choir has been to Alaska, Toronto, and Mexico.
The Praise Singers & Band are composed of musicians who come together once a week to: A)Learn about leading worship through the art of music and B) Rehearse the songs for the upcoming Contemporary Worship services. Instrumentalists include bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboard, drums, percussion, violin, and flute. For more information, contact Nate Collins at (423) 224-1523.
First Broad Street United Methodist Church offers six handbell choirs (three adult, one youth and two children), which add joyful ringing to our Sunday morning worship services. The Matin Ringers and Vesper Bells attend an area or regional handbell festival in the spring. All six handbell choirs are featured at a Christmas Ring and Spring Ring each year. The orchestra is open to high school and adult musicians and plays monthly in the Traditional Worship services. This year, we are particularly in need of tuba, french horn, and string players. Call Gay Aycock at (423) 378-3312 for more information.

Open to all adults (including college-age), the Sanctuary Choir performs each Sunday in our 10:45 AM Traditional Worship Service.

Sings twice per month at the 8:30 AM Traditional Worship Service and rehearses just 30 minutes before the service begins. It is jokingly called the kamikaze choir.

Composed of older adults and the forever young who meet for fellowship, community, singing, and fun. It sings at the 8:30 AM Traditional Worship Service on the third Sunday each month and at special occasions. The choir periodically visits nursing/retirement homes in the area to share their music ministry.
