Rev. Adam Hamilton is the founding pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas.  He grew up in the Kansas City area, attending Shawnee Mission schools before graduating from Blue Valley High School.  He earned a B.A. degree in Pastoral Ministry from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Divinity Degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.

Rev. Hamilton recently toured through various Annual Conference this past Summer.  One of those was the Holston Conference.  His vision and words helped church leaders, both clergy and lay, to envision new possibilities for their churches.

The above clip is a sample of a greater body of work which is available in the church media center.

This past annual conference Bishop James Swanson made several recommendations on books to uplift, inspire, and ultimately strengthen our churches.  Below are the five recommendations made by our Bishop.  They are available online to purchase.  You may select any of these books via the links below, or you may go to the local Cokesbury Bookstore, located in Johnson City, TN.
