Inurnment is limited to the cremated remains ("cremains") of any member or past member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church and their loved ones. Any minister or former minister of the Church and his or her spouse and their loved ones are also eligible. Only human cremains may be inurned in the columbarium.
The columbarium includes a series of niches in columns and rows. Each niche may include one or two standard urns (maximum of two urns in a niche) into which cremains are deposited. The fee per niche, which is determined by the Columbarium Committee, includes the right of inurnment, the perpetual care of the columbarium, the urn(s), the external name plate(s), and the inscriptionson the external name plate(s). The standards for the urns, for the external name plates, and for the inscriptions on the external name plates are also determined by the Columbarium Committee.
