Youth Choir in Alasaka, 2005 June 2004 - Youth choir trip to Cleveland Ohio June 2005 - Youth choir trip to Alaska June 2006 - Youth choir trip to Toronto, Canada July 2007 - Youth choir trip to the Appalachian Mountains Regular Rehearsals are Sundays at 4:00 7-12 graders are welcome We sing every month First Sunday in the 8:30 traditional service Second Sunday in the 8:30 contemporary service We present three major programs a year and provide music for special church celebrations. Our youth are big in mission and outreach with two local trips and one summer long distant trip. We also provide two retreats for our singers to learn new music and to fellowship. youth choir schedule 2007-2008.pdf	What's happening! Here is our Fall Schedule: August 5 sing at 8:30 traditional service August 5 sing in senior high Sunday school room August 12 youth choir rehearsals begin at 4:00-5:00 August 12 youth choir parent meeting 4:00-5:00 (parents need to attend!) Every month choir sings first Sunday at 8:30 traditional and second Sunday at 8:30 contemporary Rehearsals are every Sunday from 4-5. About every three months we will sing in the 10:45 service for the call to woship. We will also be available to sing for a sunday school class occasionally and for sunday evening service occasionally. These dates have yet to be set. November 18 youth choir special event. TBA December 12th, Wed. 6:00 youth choir annual Christmas program December 20th, Thursday, youth choir annual tour of assisted living homes and special event. December 24th, Christmas Eve, sing at 5:00 service. December 30th, Sunday, no youth choir rehearsal After Christmas, attendance accountability will pick up for senior high for our summer trip requirements. February 8-10 our annual winter retreat. This time we will include a ski trip. Destination TBA February 15, Friday, sing for mission celebration weekend March 23 Easter Sunday, sing for Sonrise service! (hope it is not so cold) April or May sing for Johns island dinner, one night, TBA May 14, End of year youth choir concert and recording May 22, Youth choir local tour to assisted living and other places. End with a supper TBA. June 22-27 youth choir middle school, trip to Music and Arts Week, Lake Junaluska. More info later. Senior High summer trip destination and times will be announced by November 1st.
